Recipe ingredients

• 1 pound all beef hot dogs
• 2, 14 ounces, cans sauerkraut, drained
• 3 cups beer
• 1 large onion, thinly sliced
• 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery

How to make kraut and dogs

• Place kraut and beer in a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
• Reduce heat and simmer covered for 20 minutes.
• Add hot dogs, onion and celery. Bring to a boil.
• Reduce heat and then simmer another 20 minutes.
• Place kraut mixture on heated serving dish and top with hot dogs.
