Kiwifruit teriyaki recipe



Recipe for kiwifruit teriyaki in our easy beef recipes collection.

Recipe ingredients

  • 4 kiwifruit
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • Soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, optional
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds, 1 inch thick, boneless round steak

How to make kiwifruit teriyaki

  • Pare and puree 2 kiwifruit.
  • Combine with wine, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and oil in large baking dish.
  • Add steak and marinate 1/2 hour.
  • Marinating for more than 1 hour may over tenderize it.
  • Remove steak from marinade and broil to desired degree of doneness.
  • Slice steak and arrange on serving platter.
  • Pare and slice remaining kiwi.
  • Garnish platter with slices.
